EPZ020411 hydrochloride is a highly selective inhibitor of protein arginine methyltransferase 6 (PRMT6), with an IC50 value of approximately 10 nM. EPZ020411 hydrochloride regulates the expression of related genes by specifically inhibiting the catalytic activity of PRMT6 and reducing the methylation level of histone H3 arginine 2 (H3R2). The study showed that the compound had good selectivity, weak inhibition on other PRMT family members, and showed low off-target effect.
