HyperChrom Heparin FF Agarose is an affinity chromatography medium made by covalently coupling heparin to an agarose base. Heparin is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan that has affinity with a variety of biomolecules and can also be used as an ion exchange ligand. This chromatography medium can be used to isolate and purify coagulation factors, antithrombin III, growth factors, interferon, lipoprotein lipase, and enzymes for nucleic acid and steroid receptors.
