Human Myeloperoxidase/MPO ELISA Kit

Human myeloperoxidase (MPO) protein, a peroxidase found in leukocytes encoded by the MPO gene on human chromosome 17, is an important component of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and is essential for bactericidal activity in a variety of organisms. First, MPO deficiency can lead to the development of hereditary diseases with body-related immunodeficiency. Secondly, the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases, atherosclerosis and other diseases also has a lot to do with MPO levels.
